A wise professor once said, "Your education is not complete until you cross a border." International travel experiences will help in making your education more well-rounded. In a world that is increasingly global, employers look to hire those who have some sort of international experience. Engaging in one of our study abroad opportunities might give you the added experience that employers are looking for.
Another reason for crossing a border is that it helps you to better understand how you can be a part of The Great Commission. Matthew 28:19 is a command by Christ to share His saving grace globally. At LeTourneau University we hope to be in "Every workplace in every nation," as a response to Christ's commission. International travel experiences serve an educational purpose, but they also open the door for you to impact the Kingdom of Heaven.
