Travel & Study in Chile — October 14-21, 2011

LeTourneau University has announced its fall study abroad trip to Santiago, Chile, and all students are invited to attend. Employers know the value of having employees who have global experiences, and this trip provides an ideal opportunity for students to build their resume while earning credit towards their Business degree.

Participating students will earn 3 hours of course credit, which can be substituted for BUSI4703 International Business or MBAC6163 Cross-Cultural Management. Undergraduate students will register for BUSI 4623 International Travel Experience and Graduate students will register for BUSI6623 International Travel Experience.

Trip dates are October 14-21, 2011. The cost of the trip is $3,400 plus tuition. Included costs are travel to and from Santiago, Chile from Dallas/Ft. Worth airport, lodging, some meals, and all group travel in Chile. Since this is a school-related trip, students may be able to receive additional student loan funds. To be considered for those additional funds to cover this trip, please contact the financial aid office to determine eligibility.

LeTourneau University has contracted with one of the premiere travel agencies in South America, making it easy to sign up, pay for the trip and attend. There are a limited number of seats available on this trip so early registration is advised. A deposit of $850 is due by July 15, 2011.
